Received a phone call, answered it, and there was silence for about 7 seconds before they hung up. Called back and there was an automated message something like, "thank you for calling back, to be removed from our calling list, please press 1 now." I pressed 1, and it said "you've been removed from our list. Goodbye."
I have the feeling I just confirmed that the number is real, and now someone will be selling it to telemarketers, but can't find any data about it.Comment

Received automated call stating "This is a call for _____ (no name given, just silence) & there are FEDERAL charges pending so call 3072064539 to keep from losing your rights in this matter." A 6 digit case # was given. I called the #, got automated "all reps are busy" & "leave name, phone # & case # & someone will call or if # reached in error, give # to have removed from their list."
I copied this from designer cat, because this is exactly what happened to me, however I don't plan on calling that number because I don't need the harassment. This is ridiculousComment

This company is calling claiming that there are pending charges against me and stating that if I do not send them or Western Union them money that a warrant will be issued for my arrest‡ These comments come from users of Spokeo and from third party websites.
