This number called me numerous times today claiming to be the IRS and wanted to verify information before sending my income tax check. As I had just filed my taxes a few weeks ago, and awaiting my check, I answered a couple questions about phone number and mailing address, and then asked for someone American as I was having difficulty understanding him. He hung up on me. Then called back. He quoted an amount I was getting back, which was nowhere near the amount I am getting back, and again I asked for an American. He told me to go to CVS or Walgreens, and thats when I hung up. I knew for sure it wasnt really the IRS‡ These comments come from users of Spokeo and from third party websites.
